IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please be aware of fraudolent websites offering Accommodation and Registration Services for the EugMS 2019 Congress.

1. Aristea Travel is the only offical accommodation agency, authorised by EuGMS, to book rooms for EuGMS 2019.

2. The only way to register for the Congress is through the EuGMS online registration portal or directly onsite at the Congress Venure from 25 September 2019.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of the Congress is English.

PASSPORT AND VISA

Nationals of the European Community require only a valid identify card. For most countries outside Europe, for example USA and Canada, a valid passport is enough. Some countries, however, still require a visa. You can find more information about the Schengen Area and required documents here: link

Visa:
In case you need an entry visa, you should apply for a Schengen Visa. Please make sure you apply for it well in advance before your departure. For more information please contact the Polish Embassy or Consulate in your country. You can also find more information at:

LETTERS OF INVITATION

Requests for letters of invitation for visa purposes should be directed to the Organizing Secretariat after the registration. Please note that such letter can not grant any financial support.

INSURANCE

The Organizing Secretariat cannot accept responsibility for accidents or damage to participants or accompanying persons before, during or after the Congress. Participants are urged to make their own arrangements with respect to travel and health insurance. Upon registration, the participant accepts this provision.

BADGES

Badges denoting registration status will be given to all participants upon their check-in at the registration desk. Participants will not be admitted to any scientific session without their badge.

EXHIBITION

Exhibition will be located in the ICE Kraków Congress Center.

MOBILE PHONES

Participants are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones silenced in the rooms where scientific sessions are being held.

INTERNET

Internet Wi-Fi services will be available to all participants during the Congress.

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE

Certificates of attendance will be available on request at the end of the Congress at the self-registration totems.

CURRENCY

The zloty is the official currency in Poland. You can find banknotes of 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 zlotys in circulation. Regarding coins, there are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 groszy, and 1, 2 and 5 zloties. Foreign currency may be changed at banks, hotels, airports and in exchange offices. On-site registration payment will be possible only via cash (EURO) or credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DINERS), no debit card with PIN will be admitted.
