European Student Assembly 2025 - 4th edition - ensuring ageing interest

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to share a good opportunity for students across Europe who are interested in ageing to participate in the upcoming European Student Assembly 2025 (ESA).

This prestigious event will bring together over 230 students from the 64 European University Alliances, fostering dialogue on key issues facing Europe today. It is open to students from all nationalities, fields, and levels of study—from the second year of undergraduate education to PhD programmes.

I noted that this year, ESA 2025 will include Panel 5: Education Beyond Graduation, focusing on how the EU can promote lifelong learning to prepare its citizens for rapid technological and socioeconomic changes.

Focus Question:
How can lifelong learning be integrated more seamlessly into current education systems to ensure accessibility for citizens of all ages?

Key Themes:

  • Integrating lifelong learning into education systems for all ages.
  • Promoting inclusivity for disadvantaged groups, such as low-skilled workers, migrants, and aging populations.

Participating in the ESA provides students with a unique opportunity to:

  • Engage with peers and thought leaders from across Europe.
  • Contribute to shaping European policy.
  • Develop skills in advocacy, research, and collaboration.

I kindly ask for your support in disseminating this opportunity through EuGMS channels.
